Esthetics Program
Course Goals and Objectives
The Esthetic course on instruction will include:
- Anatomy and physiology of the face, neck, hands, and arms.
- Identify and assess skin conditions and disorders.
- Perform facial treatments with state of the art equipment for all skin types, waxing services, spa treatments, and makeup applications.
- Obtain business management skill required to seek employment and provide tools for success.
- Professional behavior, client service and communication.
- This program trains high school graduates and GED recipients to meet the general education requirements for State licensing as an Esthetician. Appropriate hours will be met both in theory and practical areas.
Students are expected to maintain at least a minimum of 80% attendance rate in order to be satisfactory. The attendance rate is calculated according to the number of hours a student is contracted for weekly.
Students must earn at least an 80% grade on all required theory chapter tests, written mid-point exam and final exam.
Students will be graded and evaluated as follows:
- Weekly Test
- Mid-point Exam - written and practical
- Final Exam - written and practical
- Special projects
- Clinic Performance

Students will receive a satisfactory progress report upon the completion of each course of study.>
Graduation Requirements
- Complete the 450 hours required by the Wisconsin Department of Regulations and Licensing, and this school.
- Complete all exams with minimum passing grades. Meeting the satisfactory progress requirements of 80%.
- Complete all tuition and fee obligations.
- Complete the closing interview with the school Director.
- A certificate is awarded to students when they complete the aforementioned and must be awarded prior to their taking the state board examination.

The Lakeview School of Esthetics does not guarantee job placement. However, every available resource is offered to assist students in their search for employment. Posting of job opportunities are made available to students.
